Gwinnett County Public Schools Selects Interpreters Unlimited For Sign Language Interpreters And Speech Pathologists Contract
SAN DIEGO, CALIF., June 27, 2016— Gwinnett County Public Schools awarded Interpreters Unlimited, a foreign language services company, with a contract for sign language and speech pathologist services. The services contract is in effect June 1 through May 31, 2017.
With this contract, Interpreters Unlimited will work with GCPS schools during the next year on an as-needed basis. It will provide the district school staff with more vendors as the districts continue to expand. “This is an exciting opportunity for us to expand our offering to public education. We’re looking forward to working with Gwinnett County and forging a long-term relationship,” said, Shamus Sayed, vice president of sales & marketing of Interpreters Unlimited.
In order to compete for this contract, companies were required to submit a request for proposal, proof of the interpreter’s certifications, experience and other credentials.
