Accessible Communication for the Deaf Wins Sign Language Interpretation Contract from the School District of Palm Beach County
SAN DIEGO, July 6, 2017—Accessible Communication for the Deaf (ACD), an IU Group Company, was awarded a five-year contract from the School District of Palm Beach County, Florida to provide educational sign language interpretation services.
Under the contract, ACD is to administer American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services for schools within district limits in Palm Beach County. The services will be administered by professionally trained interpreters who hold certification credentials from the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.
Accessible Communication for the Deaf is an IU Group company, with offices in Miami and Tampa, Florida. ACD is IU’s dedicated Sign Language Services Division, providing educational ASL interpretation services for school districts and universities across the United States.
