INTERPRETERS UNLIMITED IS SEEKING FREELANCE VIETNAMESE INTERPRETERS!!!
Over the past several years, we have had substantial growth and have immediate assignments and many ongoing. Interpreters Unlimited is a national language services provider, headquartered in San Diego, California. We contract our linguists to provide superior interpretation services for hospitals and medical facilities, government agencies, colleges and universities, law firms and courts, insurance companies and corporations.
As a Freelance Medical Interpreter (Independent Contractor) with our agency you can accept and deny assignments based on your schedule, set your own rates and terms, and work for other agencies. Generally, we will notify you 1 to 7 days in advance by email/text. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on the need of the company. The assignments are usually between 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday. In addition, we also receive weekend and evening assignments on occasion. Travel will be limited, and interpreters will not be required to travel outside of their respective counties.
Responsibilities:
-Must arrive in-person to assist (On-site interpreting only).
-Must interpret fast oral conversations between English and target language.
-Must follow assignment instructions.
-Must accept or decline appointment requests in a timely manner.
-Must always exhibit professional behavior and dress professionally.
-Must always arrive on time to all assignments.
Desired Skills and Experience:
-Must be authorized to work in the United States
-College degree or specialized training preferred (or equivalent experience)
-Medical Certification preferred
-Must have access to the internet and mobile phone.
