SAN DIEGO, February 9, 2022 — Interpreters Unlimited (IU) will be participating in the 10th Annual ALC (Association of Language Companies) Unconference in Orlando, Florida, Feb 9-12, 2022. This year the event is back in person where last year it was 100% virtual. There is also an additional virtual summit 2/16-2/17 for those who would prefer virtual over in person.
The UnConference is not your usual conference, with no keynote speakers or panels arranged, the flow and content of the event is shaped and crafted by the attendees. Their ideas and participation run the show. Conference sessions are usually roundtable discussions among attendees on various topics such as HR/Operations, Advocacy, M&A, RFP’s, Industry Trends, Technology and the ALC itself.
IU VP Shamus Sayed is an ALC board member who holds an important role handling new membership meet and greets and then mentoring at the event as well as year round. Shamus represents IU at the event every year.
The ALC is a U.S. based international trade association, representing businesses that provide translation, interpretation, localization, language testing, and language training services across the globe. They serve the language service industry through advocacy and professional development. You can learn more about the ALC and their events at www.alcus.org.
