SAN DIEGO, August 6, 2021 — Following the latest COVID-19 Federal guidance for the private sector, we have updated our COVID-19 Protocols regarding vaccinations and mask use for contracted linguists.
It is highly recommended that all interpreters be fully vaccinated and there will be a requirement to continue to wear masks indoors whether vaccinated or not.
The majority of the interpreters who we contract with are already vaccinated, however if an interpreter is not vaccinated, they will be required to test for COVID-19 on a weekly basis and only proceed to assignments when they receive negative results. And again, all interpreters will need to wear masks when indoors.
Vaccinated interpreters can be requested and you will always have the option of Video Remote and Over the Phone interpreting. We will also have copies of interpreter vaccine records available if needed.
We continue to follow all of the current policies, regulations and recommendations set forth by the CDC as well as those of our clients. If you have a specific need or request please let us know. We are here for you!
