Accessible Communication for the Deaf (ACD) joined the IU Group of companies in 2014.  Since its founding in 2003, ACD has made a name for itself as a premier Florida-based American Sign Language referral agency. With offices in Tampa and Miami, ACD’s highly qualified translators are equipped to serve the entire state with in-person and video remote translation services.

ACD’s strong ties with the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community are a result of the founder’s dedication and passion for sign language. Each contracted ASL translator holds certifications from both national and state associations. These certifying organizations include the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and the Florida Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (FRID).
