Language Advocacy Day Policy Summit 2020. Washington DC.

IU Group is a proud sponsor of the 2020 Language Advocacy Day in Washington DC. The event takes place over the course of 2 days, February 6-7, and brings advocates from across the country to an annual policy summit to meet with their Congressional government offices to raise awareness of their goals. One of the main goals is having full representation from all states 50 states, from California to New York, to paint a complete picture of the state of language learning in the US. The importance of language education in the 21st century is paramount. English, Spanish, American Sign Language and every language in between are all an significant part of our countries culture. Of course interpreters and document translators are just as a significant and integral part of our nation day to day, so this is a perfect event for IU to partake in.
