ALC Unconference 2021. Virtual Conference.

It’s that time of year again for the annual ALC (Association of Language Companies) Unconference. IU Vice President Shamus Sayed sits on the ALC board and takes part in this event each year. The ALC is a United States based organization that promotes the professional stature and economic position of the language service industry through industry advocacy and professional development of language company owners and senior management. The event consists of small, roundtable discussions and networking allowing CEOs and Directors of various size Language Service Companies to meet and discuss topics such as HR/Operations, Advocacy, M&A, RFP’s, Industry Trends, Technology and the ALC itself. Though the focus is consistent, this year brings a totally different experience as it will be held virtually due to COVID-19. The event takes place February 2-4, 2021. You can learn more about the ALC and the Unconference at www.alcus.org.
